We are proud of our strong partnership with the Maryland MVA.

Register at the MVA

You can register as an organ, eye and donor at the MVA through any in person, online, kiosk or mail-in transaction for a driver’s license or state ID.

As of October 1, 2015, the MVA also offers persons wishing to register as a donor the option to display or not display the heart symbol on their license or ID.

In Person at MVA Branches

You can register as a donor at any Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration branch when you obtain a new driver’s license or state identification card or when you renew your license or ID. The MVA will also change your donor designation at anytime at no charge, as long as donor designation is the only item you are updating. Visit the MVA to locate your nearest branch.

Online, Kiosk and Mail-in Renewal

If you chose to renew your driver’s license or state identification through the MVA’s online, kiosk or mail-in renewal, you can also select to register as a donor during any of these transactions.
