Christopher Canales
Christopher Gerard Canales was twenty-three years old at the time of his sudden passing. He was a barber and aspiring rapper that lived every moment of his life to the fullest. For being only five feet four inches tall he had a huge personality that could fill a room. He had a big heart which was evident through his volunteer work he did in the community.
When approached by a representative from the Washington Regional Transplant Community about Chris being a donor, the decision was easy. We knew that Chris would want to give the gift of life to someone else.
We have been told that several of the gifts, such as his heart and liver, have gone to recipients in the region. It gives us peace knowing that he is still with us and helping others!
